Assembly was a bit confusing because the instructions where in a different language. But it wasn't bad it is a two person job at least. Some of the wood pieces did have a bit scuffs but nothing to noticeable. The color is beautiful and to be honest I am happy with the buy. And it is a big space saver. Very happy!!They love their beds. For 3 and 6 year Olds it's great.Cute bed, maybe not going to last with two young boys 5 and 2. Top bunk had to replace railing as it *just fell off*. We are pretty sure it had a little help, but it should be able to stand up to a 5 year old.exactly as pictured, easy to assemble. Little delay in receiving, but communication from vendor was stellar!We have a very small apartment 600sq ft 2 bedrooms. My 4 & 6 year olds share the smallest room that has only one wall that is useable for a bed at 80" long. Mr 4yo just outgrew his toddler bed and a bunk was the only space option. I searched for weeks to find one that meet my needs and this one did.Pros/Details-Seperates into 2 beds. One will be floor level so you will likely need risers if you choose to divide them-Easy to assemble. I have peripheral neuropathy bc and very little strength in my hands and I assembled this by myself. A second person helps to stack them but it is doable.-Light but sturdy. The weight limit is 400lbs. I weigh 285 and did not notice any give/freaking/wiggle etc when I laid down on it and tested the ladder.-Ladder steps are wide. I didn't measure but 4 fingers across and have rounded edges comfortable for little feet.-Low profile. The top rail is between elbow and shoulder hieght on me and I'm 5'6". Top bunk starts at about my wrist.-I purchased 2 of the Lucid 5" memory foam mattresses (white with blue edge $98ish). They fit and have about a 3ish finger gap.Only Con minus-One rear left corner post was missing a hole that should have been drilled there per the instructions. I'm one to chose my battles and just made my own hole there ...
