Perfect sheets for the bed. They fit the queen bed without being too tight or too loose. The thread count is super high so the sheets have a crispness to them.I’ve only been sleeping on my sheets for two weeks. I washed them before putting them on my bed. I can’t say enough great things about these sheets. I will definitely purchase them again.Thank you Minor Monkey for making great quality 1000 TC Egyptian cotton sheets for a great price. ?1000 thread count Pure Egyptian cotton sheets should be heavy, sturdy and crisp. They should feel soft when you move around in bed. These sheets are so thin u can see light through them. I gave them a shot; I washed and put in my bed. Not only are they thin, they were rough. If i had not washed the, i would return them. I ca say the color was nice.I had purchased an Egyptian cotton Kate Spade King Size bedding set from Costco a couple of years ago. It was white with navy blue polka dots and for pillow cases. One pair of king size pillow cases was solid navy blue but was ruined when I accidentally washed them with other linens that I was using bleach with. I was unable to find a comparable set of just pillow cases in a dark navy blue since then and my favorite sheet set went unused. I took a risk and bought a package of just one pair of navy blue pillow cases. They are PERFECT! Just as soft as the ones that I had ruined and very dark in color. Sometimes navy blue can look purplish but not these. I love them. Very happy!!This 1000 Thread-Count product is not as soft as I one would think it would or should be. Also, even though it indicated that it is the same shade as the sheets, it is not. Overall, it is just ok. I would not purchase this again. The color of my sheets is exactly like the picture: dark and vibrant teal that did not fade a bit with washing. They look gorgeous on my bed. The material is strong and a little stiff so if you value a softer feel over durability then these might not be for you. But I love them. The smell right out of the package is unpleasant so I would wash them with some scented detergent or use fabric softener. I would (and probably will) buy these again. The Minor Monkey sheets we ordered are very good quality sheets--we were expecting something softer, but these are more "crispy". So if you are looking for that super crisp, clean hotel sheet, this is it! However, if you're looking for something that is more cozy, this may not be the right thing. The main issue we are having with these sheets, though, is that the flat sheet is barely long enough to tuck in. The product description listed the sheets as being made for deep pocket mattress, which we have. The fitted sheet fits fine over the deep mattress, but when we try to tuck in the flat sheet there is only maybe an inch or two that can tuck in under the mattress. Consequently, we are constantly kicking it out almost the instant we get in the bed.In every other way, these sheets are an exceptional quality product--the fabric is clearly of very high quality, the color is true and consistent, and it's clear that they will hold up under many washings. If the specific complaints we have are not issues for you, then I would definitely recommend this product. They seemed substantial weight-wise but I was worried when I opened them up and I could see the light through them in my garage. Honestly they do not carry the weave and quality that i would expect from a "1000 thread count" sheet and they were not the nice smooth sateen that I hoped for. I returned 2 king sets and kept one queen for my guest room. All of that said, they aren't that bad for the price. I ended up paying 3 times more for the super high quality sheets I wanted.Alright look, I would like to tell you that I just spent $120 bucks on a life changing product, or that this is the best thing i’ve ever slept on, but the truth is, between my $25 dollar Walmart polyester bedsheets (blue) and these $120 dollar Egyptian cotton bedsheets (grey) I can’t really tell the difference but that in my pocket. Maybe i’m just unsophisticated or my sense of touch is out of whack, but the $25 dollar bedsheets feel softer than these. Don’t get me wrong, this is coming from a guy who just spent 2 years sleeping with a “minions” blanket and whatever else I could grab from my parents when I moved out, now that I finished college I thought I would treat myself and get some big boy blankets and after spending some time looking up bedsheets and their materials, and what makes a good quality bed sheet, I came to the conclusion that this was it. Truth be told I can’t tell the difference! I do like the colour tho, but these might be one of those cases of “if your expectations are too high”, but I mean, at $120 dollars what should I expect? For $30 more I could’ve gotten a 9 piece set, not Egyptian cotton or 1000 thread count, but I could’ve thrown out all my old blankets (I still threw out the minion blanket, that had to go!) I would like to tell my friends I have a high quality $120 dollar blanket but i’m afraid they might roast me for it. Maybe time will tell if these blankets are worth the money but I mean, with the $25 dollar blankets I just dump them in the washing machine on whatever setting, dump fabric softener and aroma beads and call it a day, those sheets have been through war and back, and they’re still going strong, with these $120 dollar sheets I have to be so delicate with them when I wash them to the point where I think I might have gotten tricked into buying $120 dollar bed sheets. Only time will tell. I’m taking off a star for the “meh” quality at $120. They do feel a little bit thicker than $25 dollars sheets, not hotel thick, but thicker (picture included). I’m also taking a star off for the bad smell they had when I opened them, I don’t know anything about minor monkeys but these bed sheets sure smelt like it. After a wash they should smell good. But that initial smell, stunk up my room. Any other stars are for my pride, the colour and any “amazing quality” they might turn out to be in the future.these sheets are not minor munkey all the tags say topsellnowhere on any of the sheets or pillowcases does it say minor monkeyI feel ripped off. Nowhere on the packaging or tags on these sheets does it say minor monkey. They can’t possibly be 1000 thread count as they’re very thin. They are rough after being washed and really wrinkled. On my order it said they were sold by north canada shop but they came from SRP linen mercantile pvt ltd (India). I don’t know if there’s a connection but they feel no different than sheets I purchased for $30. There is nothing that says “luxury” about these sheets and certainly not worth the very high price I paid for them. I thought I was getting something really nice. So very disappointed ☹️I bought the sheets cause my old ones had a huge hole mad it was time to replace. They came on time.I’ve been using these set fro about a month now. It’s pretty good. Kinda thick cotton which is nice.Still kinda wrinkles but that’s ok; it’s expected of cotton material. I hate sheets that are wrinkle free just because it not really cotton; they mix man made material with it.The sheets have not yet soften even after many washes but that’s ok.. has a feel of thickness to it.They arrived as advertised, in Minor Monkey packaging, fit perfect on a deep mattress and the feel, quality and color are excellent. Great purchase.
