I bought this to use in a vacation home, as a bunk bed replacement. After I assembled the bed and trundle, I had my 70 pound son test it out. The mattress frame visibly moved, and sagged in the middle. I placed a bunkie board on the frame to see if that helped, and that did not stop the sagging. This bed is not sturdy (& I assembled it well). I donated it to an fundraiser rather than pay for return shipping, and do not recommend this bed unless it is for a light weight person, and will not be used often.
