Item arrived as described. Had spare screws and bolts for if needed. Instructions were pretty clear. Nearly had a breakdown from having to screw in 24ish screws by hand, would definitely recommend using a power drill for some parts (NOT INCLUDED). Bed is beautiful though, and super stable (quiet too). My only complaint is the design leaves some very large silver bolts visible when completed and there were no caps to cover these. I ended up using some stickers I had lying around to decorate them instead.It is a good looking bed and I really liked the style. But, there are issues with it that is not evident in the product description. First of all, there is a permanent safety label ( about 2" X 7" size) is directly printed on wood on a very visible part on the headboard in white letters. The big white label is hideous and completely stands out against the dark wood. They didn't even bother to print it straight and square. I have never seen anything like that in a furniture before. If it was a small item, I would have returned it. Also, since it is a modifiable bed (to day bed, etc.), there are lot of holes on the bed that are covered with plugs (provided).Although it does have a label that would be better placed elsewhere on the frame, the bed is solid wood, easy to assemble and very sturdySo happy with this bed. It is made out of solid wood - no plywood. It is absolutely sturdy. And they shipped it to my front door in ALASKA. Thank you!
